The protection of refugees has many aspects. This include ensuring; refugees will not be returned involuntarily to their countries, ensuring fair and efficient access to asylum procedures, ensuring that their basic human rights are respected, and allowing them to live in dignity and safety while helping them to find a more durable, long-term solution.
